The snowing flakes sticked on the surface of the apartment window. It was snowing hard that day, just like what the weather forecast has predicted.

Raveena as usual wanted to capture it. Using both of her camera and her phone. She stood up, took her camera from her desk and clicked the shutter. Then she put it away, changed it with her phone. But her phone was ringing at that time, showing Aunty Nina on the screen.

She smiled, knowing one of her relatives called her. Quickly she picked up the call.

“Raveena.”

Her voice sounded not that enthusiastic, tend to be uneasy. Raveena already thought something was wrong.

“Yes, aunty? What happened?”

“Is there something wrong with your mom?”

“My mom?” She repeated the question.

“Yes, Ajeng hasn’t been seen since a week ago. Do you know where she is? She also hasn’t came to the office since that.”

“I heard from her just the same, a week ago. I thought it was normal because mom barely called me. But wait — seriously, tho? She’s gone?”

Her eyes widening the moment disjointed thoughts came as the mind zips from one unrelated thought to another.

“I will try to find her, don’t worry.”

“Please let me know the update.”

“Don’t worry, I will. Stay calm, okay?”

“Okay.”

That day after picking up the call from Aunty Nina, Raveena realized. After all it was their plan — from the very first moment the family moved to Indonesia until Diajeng was gone and so on. She couldn’t understand it yet, why do they have to go that far.
